Hockey star Sidney Crosby carried the Olympic torch in Halifax on Wednesday. The captain of the Stanley Cup winning Pittsburgh Penguins made a brief stop in his home province to join the Olympic torch relay festivities.
Nothing against Sidney Crosby, "BUT" he is only a Hockey Player NOT a "hero." I must have missed something on Trajan's blog...no one is "annoyed" that they could not carry the flame...a celebrity is all he is...Read "CZARNY BLOG." Give it to someone who gave or did something for this Country!
I agree partly with you Tuav. I would love to see people like Rick Hansen instead of Crosby.
But the person in me also would like to see the olympics (if they have not done so in the past) have at least one mentally challenged athlete carry a torch.
