ROME � A Vatican researcher claims a nearly invisible text on the Shroud of Turin proves the authenticity of the artifact revered as Jesus' burial cloth. The claim made in a new book by historian Barbara Frale drew immediate skepticism from some scientist

    Hehe Hyack nailed it. But seriously unless your holding the object or a picture of the object it's just the same as saying that something is true because this holy text says so...well how do you know the holy text is true...because it's the holy text....etc etc

    Test it again. IF there are problems with the C-14 dating in 1988, then offer up more samples to several leading academic institutions and establish how old the cloth is and the image.
