Gov. Gen. Micha�lle Jean, who was born in Haiti, said she spent a difficult night trying to get through to family, friends and Canadian diplomats on the island country following Tuesday's earthquake.

    I applaud Canada's response, we are among the first there and are sending significant assets to assist. C-130, DART (C-117,) two warships.

    But I thought Conservatives were uncaring, kitten eaters. :roll:

    I can't wait for the usual gang of idiots to say the PM is only doing this for publicity. DART team and the rest are going to have their work cut out for them, there wasn't much to begin with and now it looks like there is nothing to work with. They might be in place for quite some time.
