That's where the kids stay, eating chips and drinking pop while mom, dad, or both go drinkin'. It's also where DND used to put recruits from Manitoba before we were shipped out to Cornwallis for Basic.

Say what? When was that? When I went to Cornwallis in 92 I spent the night before at home. That would irresponsible of the military if they did that BEFORE basic. One would need basic training to survive a night there.
