UVic culls growing rabbit population on campus

Rabbits may be cute, but they have been an ongoing problem for the University of Victoria. Campus officials said they are going to have to kill some of the 1,600 rabbits at UVic.

Round up as many as possible, kill them and donate them to food banks. The rest of them ....poison them or shoot them. If you leave two of them alive, chances are you'll have 1 600 within a few weeks....and if any of the bunny loving twats get too problematic, cull them too.

I'm sure there are plenty of gun nuts that would volunteer for the job. Close the campus, open a beer tent and let them have at it. If a few of them wind up shooting each other, well that's just a typical day in the woods. Good times had by all.

Either that, or fence off the campus in sections and turn some dogs loose in the enclosed areas....those wascally wabbits will be temporary chew toys.

Why get dogs? Why not just import some Coyotes from Vancouver and set them up on campus?
