None injured as car crashes into family home

A Surrey, B.C., family was miraculously unharmed when their car slammed through the basement suite of their home on Sunday afternoon.

The mother of the house says she was retrieving something from her 2003 Nissan Sentra at around 12:30 p.m. when the vehicle began speeding in reverse, hitting a parked van. The car then went full speed forward, slamming into the basement suite of the family home in the 8500-block of 148th Street.

Yeah, that's what happened.

It went into reverse by itself, sped away, and then went into drive by itself and sped away? I'm calling bullshit on that one.
