DRUMMONDVILLE In her closing speech to a Parti Qubcois meeting Sunday, PQ leader Pauline Marois drew a parallel between her partys goal of making Quebec a sovereign country and the Montreal Canadiens quest for the Stanley Cup.
Could the PQ be any fuller of shit and by extension, themselves?
Seriously, I'm just waiting for a Pequiste to liken the "struggle" for Quebec's sovereignty to the freeing of the slaves or the civil rights movement or something.

those separatists you hear on the news are radicals. they represent a very little minority. They problem is that when sovereignists vote for the PQ, they do not really vote for their radical and left wing ideas. They vote for separation. Like I didn't vote for the Quebec Liberals ideas but against separation and against the candidate in my riding (she's the wife of Jacques Parizeau, another radical).
La reine Pauline is very delusional. she thinks the Charest liberals are on their last legs.. she thinks she will get them on default when the PQ presence in the National Assembly is greater by one.. Then she will become la reine du Qubec and call another referendum on taking Qubec out of Canada.. lots of luck with that pauline.. the fool uses every opportunity to ride on whats popular with Qubecers at the moment.. which isn't her!
Today, like Quebecers, it is because they played as a team, that they sacrificed themselves for the team, that they can aspire to the highest honour, Marois said.
And if you take away the money the players will say screw hockey and Quebecers will say screw sovereignty. Hey! I can see her point!

What I really hate about the separatists it's that mentality. THEY are real Quebecers, the separatists. Us, the majority against separation are not REAL Quebecers.
Also, the fact that Marois has previously changed platform. Before the last elections, she was completely ignoring the sovereignty issue and as soon as the elections were over, she completely changed her stance on that very same issue.
The PQ, in theory, should not be taken seriously it seems. But as long as they have the media on their side and separatist ''sheeples'' to count on, the PQ will be a force in provincial politics.
This goes to show the complete ignorance on the part of Marois and the Parti Quebecois.
No doubt. They are NOTHING like the Habs. The Habs are liked and have fans OUTSIDE of Quebec.

And the Habs dont have 50 years of constant FAIL like the PQ.
Yeah I'd equate the PQ more with Charlie Brown
lol

I'm sure in their minds they believe that.

Yes indeed, they seem to whine an awful lot of the time.
