I'd really like to meet the person who decided it would be a great idea to host this event in Toronto and kick them really, really hard in the ass. This event brings in huge costs and inconvenience for little gain.
I have a feeling other government departments may have told Toronto. "It's problem nothing but based on our information you should probably closed down the CN tower and move the ball game, yours truly CSIS"
Money lost for Toronto so this doesn't make sense unless some department is telling them something.
Not to mention heads of state from all over the world being there.
