A dairy farm worker was charged Wednesday with 12 counts of cruelty to animals after a welfare group released a video it says shows him and others beating cows with crowbars and poking them with pitchforks.

Jerk. How would he feel if his boss belted him with a crow bar.

That's not my point. I agree people should not beat any animal, but when an anti-meat group comes with this, their agenda is a bit different than when any other group comes with it.
"Look what they do to those poor animals (hey, they're right about that), you should NEVER want to eat meat or meatproducts again and go vegan!! (ah, not so much..)"

And it makes the message of how the animals were treated less real? Thing is, without those groups, we would never know 1/10 of what is going on...

For the record, I do eat meat, eggs and drink milk - but I know exactly where the products come from and how the animals were treated during their life. I refuse to support factory farming, which is also one of the point these groups are trying to bring across.

It's amazing how many idiots still post their crimes on YouTube. Wanna know why he beat the cows? His intelligence level should be a clue right off.

Be fun to make a PB&J out of him.

You cover him in peanut butter (and nothing else) and then let him loose in a hog yard with hungry hogs. The problem, and the evidence, takes care of itself in about ten minutes.

Yep, the hogs'll eat the bones, too. Mmmmm, tasty marrow!

ok, how about let the ants get their way first, while you are enjoying a beer, and when they are done, the hogs can finish?

(come on, it will be over WAY too quick with just the hogs... :?)

Bliss for cows is a life of long summer days walking in a green field with a bunch of other cows and some guy to pull you out of the mud when you get stuck.

Mercy for cows is a quick death that hits before you can begin to feel fear and pain.

Anything less is unacceptable treatment for one of our vassal species.

But nothing could be crueler then discarding them to extinction like the Militant Vegans seem to want.
