Even though he may soon be removed from the public spotlight, the Canadian Taxpayers Federation (CTF) says British Columbians will still be paying big money for Gordon Campbell long after he leaves his position as premier.

There are two sides to this. On the one hand public MLA and MP's are supposed to get into politics cause they want to make a positive differences. On the other hand we need to make sure we pay them enough so they will not feel like they are being underpaid for their service and become corrupt.
