That story was one of the major news here in Quebec today.
That's disgusting.
However, the SPVM (Montreal police department), is dealing the case with priority. I guess that since Pat Burns is a former police officer is helping.
From what I have heard on the radio, the car was searched carefully for evidences and every details about the stolen materials were transmitted to police departments in all the country.
I just hope the guy is stupid enough to try to buy something with a credit card with the name Pat Burns on it....
What's ever more disgusting is that a lot of things like signed jerseys were given for auction to gather money for charity.
Robbed during a funeral even, it's amazing the depths of disgusting behaviour some ppl will stoop to. Whoever did this would have to go up 3 social classes just to rank as a lowlife. Hopefully it'll be returned by the asshole or found by the police post haste.
Why do people continue to leave valuble inside their cars, easiest way to steal something is out of a locked car. Yes it's deplorable and yes these guys will be caught cause they are probably dumb enough to try and sell this stuff, but seriously stuff should be in the trunk or not in the car at all
While I too think is disgusting that someone would do this, I have to wonder why the family would leave such valuable items in the car in plain view. It is sad but true that there are people out there who will take advantage of a situation like that.
nice world we live in.
