A Vancouver singer who battled cancer while using her talents to raise money for research and lift the spirits of young chemotherapy patients has died at the age of 20.

    The poster in the original 0p ed hit the nail on the head. Its way past time for a Manhatten project on cancer. Bring the greatest minds in the world together,put them under one roof. I am not a big government guy,but this is one project that I WOULD volunteer to pay more taxes for if I knew that a real effort was being made to combat this disease. I pray for the family of this young woman.
