VANCOUVER - The Mountie who saved a teen girl from being hit by a sandtruck early yesterday morning says he is amazed at the outpouring of support from the public.

he is amazed by the outpouring of support, because two days earlier those very people were spitting on him and telling him to get a real job, public support for police is so fickle, the ultimate what have you done for me lately mentality
