The oldest known bird in the US, a Laysan albatross named Wisdom, has been spotted with a chick.

    Not even. ;) One rule of nature seems to be - the larger it is, the longer it lives. Mosquitoes, a few days. Mice, 1 - 2 years. Some parrots (macaws) smaller than an albatross can live 100+ years. This one is just in time for a mid life crisis. :)
