An Edmonton woman files a human rights complaint after her autistic nine-year-old daughter and service dog were told to leave the west-end Winners store for the second time in three months.
I dislike the way that autistic people get all these discounts without following any real therapy to fix their problem... But a service dog is a service dog. It's law, it's supposed to be carried out. Now, I don't treat Therapy Dogs as real service animals... But what if a blind person walks into a store and is blocked because of their service dog?

I have to give you a fail for your attitude, what discount are you talking about? The girl had a $25 gift card given her by the Edmonton district manager of Winners because of the first incident where she was told to leave the store because of her service dog. Also Levi is a service dog, where did you get the "Therapy Dog" idea......
Without Levi, Emily could get lost or leave the store with a stranger
"GreenTiger" said The store manager is a first class jerk, in The States service animals are allowed anywhere they allow people I assume the same is true Edmonton.
Yes. You cannot bring animals into places where food is prepared, but exceptions are made for identified service dogs. Real easy to identify, from their orange vests that say "Service Dog" on the side.
What idiot kicks a girl out with a clearly identified service animal? I know you don't need a MENSA level IQ to work at Winners but come on people.
Something tells me this really isn't a matter for the police to deal with.

there is certainly no shortage of retards these days.
Not the kind of comment I would have chosen.

Dont mind me asking but how does a service dog work out for an autistic person ?
I take it just as for a blind person, to keep them safe from danger. It gives her (and her parents) freedom...

If they start banging their head against the wall the dog bites their ass?
