You can't go on vacation a day before the official break starts or you get an official knocking on your door giving you a fine (until the kids are 18) but this kid can just get a year off. UGHHHHHHHH

School officials will give a you break when it's an education you just can't get in school.
I remember my first trip to Scotland. My flight left the first week of June but there was still a week of school and then exams. My parents discussed this with the principal and the superintendent and they both agreed that it was an opportunity that I shouldn't miss.
So they let me write my exams early and let me finish school a week early with the caveat that I couldn't tell anyone what was up or the deal was off.
Needless to say, it was real easy to keep my yap shut

My step-daughter is going to Denmark with my oparents this spring, and as far as I know, the school is fine with her missing about a week and half. Sae as PA9 said, they see it as an educational opportunity that she just can't get in school. It's just unfortunate that that'll eat up enough time that we just can;t let her go on the band trip to Quebec. Ah well, I'd rather not chance her running into Raydan anyways... ;)

Hmmmm Denmark or Quebec? I'd go with Denmark myself but I've already been to Quebec several times so I'm probably biased towards somewhere I've never been. 8)

Don't worry, I laid off the younger stuff years ago. I even wonder now why I get messages from the 30 something year old women on my dating site. I haven't answered any of them yet. They must think I have money.

This is the girl I got a message from this week... I may make an exception in this case. :D

    It's The Netherlands, not Canada.

brings a tear to my eye that the herpes support group also provides a dating service for its members.

define....met and keep in mind that if this were Gunnair, you'd be defining 'girls'.
