A group representing Vancouver's best-known nude beach is asking Metro Vancouver to ban noisy water craft and their ogling occupants from coming within 300 metres of the shore.
Won't work. The Supreme Court alread ruled that a person's home is private, and that you can do anything in it and people should not look in your windows.
If you don't want to be oogled, don't walk naked on the beach.
I don't think they have to worry. Most people who go to nude beaches aren't the kind of people who ought to be going nude in the first place. And either way, the people worth ogling in Vancouver and on Granville on hot summer nights and The Penthouse..
If you don't want to be oogled, don't walk naked on the beach.
I do agree though that there should be some sort of barrier between swimmers and power boats/jet skis.
From what I hear it should be an anti-whaling beach.
The boats are proabally circling, wondering if they have enough rope to pull it back out to sea.
