A number of us come down hard on Islamic sects that behave this way and we should do the same with ANY sect that acts like this.

The Amish are probably one of the last groups that one would expect to indulge in this sort of behavior. I have a high regard for the Amish, but not for any sect that behaves like this. A number of us come down hard on Islamic sects that behave this way and we should do the same with ANY sect that acts like this.
Beard cutting and hair cutting, while still assault, are not the equal of beheadings, torture, and terrorism.

True, the worst of these Amish offenders are infinitely better than the Islamic kooks we have been looking at for some time, but still this is assault.
All the religous nuts in the world should be put on an island in the artic and left to sort out whose side God is really on with the winner getting to keep the island.

He still called it assault and he was completely correct that it isn't quite the same as beheadings. Hair and beards will grow back, your head won't.
