Omar Khadr, who has been in a U.S. detention camp in Cuba since 2002 following his capture by U.S. forces in Afghanistan, has been returned to Canada and transferred to a maximum-security prison in eastern Ontario.
I suppose this day was inevitable, but that doesn't make it any easier to tolerate. A terrible, terrible outcome, and one that will be made a million times worse with the ensuing press conferences and scenes of the Khadr's and their leftist allies mugging for the ever co-operative CBC cameras.
We know exactly what these people are and they stand convicted with their own words that they freely spoke on their own. Yet they win again anyway and the rest of us lose. Disgusting beyond belief.

I just don't see what people expect to happen. The cons tried very hard to get the U.S. to keep him. They've had him for 10 years, they don't want him anymore. Either we take him or they set him free. He was born in Toronto, we can't refuse him entry after that. I think the CBC documentary about the Khadr's is about the most damning evidence about them. Where the two women talk about how it would be wonderful to have their sons die in an act of terrorism.
Im not brave enough to do that yet" she says or something like.that.
I share your disgust. Why can't the whole lot be charged with some sort of hate crime?
These Conservatives sure do have strange priorities.
He gets to serve his sentence in Canada for war crimes, but Marc Emery stays in the U.S. for harming nobody.

And the thread takes a hard left into dopeville.

Yeah, and it was so full of interesting dialogue until then.
"Shit"... Good one Saturn, that'll give us plenty to think about.

I said more with that one word than you ever have with your cookie cutter pot posts.
Go piss up a tree. You wanna whine about weed some more go start another thread, or dredge one up from the septic tank I really don't give a damn.

And good luck with whatever you're whining about, I don't give a damn either.

Duly noted.

+5 for the first sentence, -5 for the second one. You break even again. You're Even Steven!
