Quite the scam. Happy it wasn't Canadian taxpayer money they were getting.

A huge scam, a waste of money? That sounds like green energy to me. For it to sound like communism you need more screams of the dying.

I went to Leningrad one time. The only way you could get a cab was to bribe them with toilet paper, cigarettes or something. In communist Russia, a cab drivers job was to drive the cab. In typical Russian style, the cab driver drove the cab. But he didn't have to stop and pick anyone up. . . unless there was something in it for him.

That's sounds like driving a train back and forth across the border, and not unloading it, and getting paid for it. I like the idea of sustainable energy. But if you have to bribe companies into making it, it's not sustainable.

No, thats just your morally bankrupt corporate capitalism exploiting another legal loophole for their own benefit at public expense. Predates green energy. Thats why banks in Texas keep 20 head of cattle on their books for example.

It may predate it but green energy helps it out a lot more than many other activities.

I believe it was David Lewis who referred to "corporate welfare bums." Not much has changed, they just wear green pants sometimes now.
