The NHL will not suspend Pittsburgh Penguins left-winger Matt Cooke after he was ejected from Saturday's game against the Boston Bruins. Cooke was thrown out in the second period after checking Boston defenceman Adam McQuaid from behind into the boards.
So much for Matt getting past his nasty tendencies. This is the second time in the play-offs where he has been involved in a dirty hit. Time to bench him, Dan.....better for the team if you do.

Yep. I think the decision to not dish out supplimental discipline is the right one considering Marchand's hit wasn't really any different than Cooke's and he only got 2 minutes.
