Study reveals how birds lost their penises

New research sheds light on why some birds have lost their penises over the course of evolution. Land fowl, such as chickens, have normally developing penises as early embryos, but only have rudimentary organs as adults.

Wow, so instead of curing cancer or Parkinson's disease THIS is how you choose to spend your research time? Not sure how that will look on a resume.

funny that the Chinese do this as well......xiao ji (little chicken) or little children call it a ji ji(ji is pronounced gee and xiao is show, with the /ow/ from cow )
