Lots of TV time for me this weekend. Have to watch GSP on Saturday, then the CFL west final on Sunday.

Well, for ME that's a lot of TV for a weekend...

And the US Grand Prix at noon on Sunday. :)

Little known fact about GSP - he kicked Chuck Norris' ass.

    GSP. Always GSP.

And why bother watching the US GP? Vettel won that weeks ago.

I've been watchign it since Niki Lauda won the championchip. I watched it with one eye even when Schumacher/Ferrari was unbeatable, mostly because I wanted to see how Villeneuve was doing. There are still a few driver that I like to see do well. And I'm hoping one day Sato dies in a firey wreck.

GSP has the edge. Hendricks is a great wrestler with a heavy hands. GSP has dealt with his type before.

That said, Hendricks does hit harder than anyone Georges has fought yet, and his wrestling his probably the best GSP has faced. I give him a better chance than anyone else GSP has fought in a while, but there a couple things that really stick out as advantages for Georges.

There is a lot of talk about how good Hendricks' wrestling is, but he has used it so little in his MMA career that it's hard to say how it will match up against the best MMA wrestler in UFC history. Hendricks might be able to beat GSP in a sraight wrestling match, but once you throw in GSP's ability to set-up his take downs with strikes and his amazing transitions on the ground... good be very frustrating for Hendricks.

Hendricks has lots of power in his hands but his straight up boxing technique leaves a lot to be desired. In particular I've noticed his tendency to load up that left hand down low and bullrush in chin first. That's just a bad idea going up against the best jab in the sport.

Hendricks is a very good fighter and I would not be completely shocked to see him knock out GSP, but I also think this is one of the best chances to see GSP win by KO that we've seen in long time. I would not be surprised to see Hendricks run straight into that jab chin first and then get head kicked to sleep while e's recovering.

    Realistically though... GSP by decision.

Yeah, definitely goona be a good one. I have to say though, GSP's last fight against Nate Diaz was the most I've ever seen him damaged. Diaz landed some good hits on him and I expect Hendricks watched that tape long and hard.

I expect GSP to keep Hendricks at more of a distance than he did Diaz. No way he wasn't to chance getting hit by Hendricks.

What do you guys think on the other 2 big fights? I've got MacDonald over Lawler in by tko in the first half od the fight, and I think Evans gets the decision over Sonnen, but I'm a lot less confident in that one.
