Protesters near the Tyendinaga Mohawk reserve in southern Ontario have blocked the Montreal-Toronto Via Rail line to draw attention to missing and murdered aboriginal women.

    Good thing these bully tactics have resulting in such great change for the Native community over the last 20 years.

    People tried that in Pemberton. The RCMP broke it up right quick. Seems it's illegal to block a highway. For 2nd Nations, anyway.

    It`d be interesting to see the financial facts on the reserves that the missing women came from. How many of them came from reserves where the chief and council were embezzling, and most of the rank and file rezidents weren`t seeing the funds, programs and services meant to assist them?

    Someone in a government office somewhere will toss them a few extra cheques and they'll go away. Always worked in the past, always will work in the future.
