Telus must reimburse $2.6M in texting fees, court rules

A Quebec court has ruled that Telus must reimburse customers more than $2.6 million for text messaging fees that the mobile phone carrier collected between 2008 and 2011.

I use Telus and they had a habit of constantly sending you text message/ads themelves that you were obliged to pay for. I disabled the texting function on a couple of my old phones when I figured out their scam.
