Bitumen pipeline would bring 900,000 barrels a day to Edmonton area

A new bitumen pipeline, twice the size of the Northern Gateway pipeline to the West Coast, could be under construction this fall to bring 900,000 barrels a day into the Edmonton area, TransCanada Pipelines told a regulatory hearing Tuesday.
