Of course some organization of crybaby atheists heard about it and sent the following whiny missive...
and then...

Besides, there's a difference between, "we like you, here's a discount" and, "we don't like you, we're going to charge you more than the advertised price".
I would think there'd be an issue if you gave discounts only to Arabs.. Or white people...
...and in some bars they have "ladies night"... equally offensive.
Freedom of religion and freedom from religion get equal billing here, so if atheists want the discount the can pray for it in whatever way floats their boat, or they can go to a restaurant that gives discounts for not believing in God but they`d be much better served if they didn`t pull the aggrieved party act while trying to fuck someone else over because of their beliefs.
People should just STFU and live and let live. There`s enough crap in the world for this to be pretty low on the who gives fuck scale but, of course some self righteous asshats who think someone`s getting something they aren`t are gonna make it an issue bigger than it ever should have been.

This.
Keep your religion in your church.
When it comes to things like ladies' night at the bar, discounts for seniors, discounts for students etc... those are somehow perfectly acceptable though.
But yeah, let's get all pissy because a restaurant gives a discount to a specific group of people.
The question that needs to be asked is, are people who don't pray getting charged 15% more than the menu price? NO? Then what the fuck is the problem?
I think some atheists need to understand that private business is NOT the govt. There is NOTHING that states there must be a separation of religion and private enterprise. As long as customers aren't being refused service because of their lack of religious beliefs, or are the "wrong" religion, then who the hell cares?
