I'm more conflicted about Windows 10 than I have been about any previous version of Windows. In some ways, the operating system is extremely ambitious; in others, it represents a great loss of ambition. The new release tries to walk an unsteady path betwe
Anybody going to download the Win 10 version? I think I'll wait unitl I buy a new computer that has it installed. Mabye by then some of the bugs will have been resolved.
I might. I'm running it on one computer already, since the beta started. I might put it on another computer or two, depending on how they license the versions.
They were saying that the Windows 7 Home and Media versions were forced updates, and that they had to use a Microsoft authenticated logon to function. I won't allow that, so if it's true then my PC that I use for TV viewing (Windows 7 Home) won't be upgraded.
My gaming PC is Windows 7 Ultimate, so I might upgrade it if Steam supports Windows 10. (It didn't support Windows 8 ).
Never been less excited about a Windows release.
I hear Windows 95 will be pretty awesome once the bugs get fixed.
They said that about Millennium Edition too.
My thinkpad is running Windows 7 professional why would I upgrade to a basic OS because it has a 10? Just like Apple's OS upgrades meh no thanks.
Ditto. I have W7 Ultimate and I don't feel like giving that away.
I never use it because Win7 is too slow in comparison to Win 8.1. I only haul it out to use Office 2010 which I haven't needed for over 3 months...
Finally installed my Samsun850 EVO on my 8.1 machine and it boots in seconds. Can't wait for the Win 10 to download....
I like it.
