A bakery employee at Loblaws is speaking out about best-before dates. Marketplace has been investigating how stores extend dates on food. Some of the methods may make food unsafe.

I remember back in the 1980's my father didn't trust store-bought hamburger because it was often old hamburger wrapped with a thin layer of fresh hamburger.

You'd think that crap would end but no.
