Pride flag found burned at University of B.C. during annual LGBTQ celebration

In a statement released Tuesday, the university condemned the incident as an act of hate that violated the schoolï¿½s deeply held values of equity, inclusion and respect.

As we create this space to resist and challenge power on campus, we must continuously be aware of whose land we are marching on, challenge narratives that support historical and ongoing colonial violence against Indigenous peoples within our communities, and work to be in allyship with decolonization movements.
