Fucking incredible. He jeopardized the entire 7th Fleet with his avarice. 46 Months is nowhere near enough time to reflect on his digressions and he`s lucky it wasn`t a treason charge he faced..

What he had and what he accomplished was thrown in the garbage for booze and women. He will have four years of not being called SIR to think about it.

Maybe the hookers calling him SIR made it all worth it.

When I saw the title, I thought... "just another shore leave in the Navy". 8O

Sure, but with cleaner rooms and more attractive hookers. Or maybe the other way around.

Just another shinning example that an education and commission doesn't make up for reprehensible morals, despite what they tell you at the Academy or Mil Col.

Everyone on Wall Street has a college education, a lot of them from the elite of the elite in the Ivy League. And that's the biggest collection of criminals the world has every seen. There's always more than a few who are completely willing to use their education to cause as much damage as they can get away with. This disgraced skipper is just another example. And good thing they caught him before he got lined up for a promotion to admiral because who knows what would have happened if he'd started with the same scam from a high-ranking seat inside the Department of the Navy or the Pentagon. 8O
