Hey, he fell into the lifeboat! It wasn't his fault!
I took a cruise on that ship, with that captain, a few years earlier and it is fucking impossible to fall into the lifeboats. I'm barely 6 foot and I had to struggle through the small openings during the evacuation drill. Which I might add was the biggest clusterfuck I've ever seen on a ship. The ships officers had zero fucking control during the drill, which would go a long way to explaining the captain, and his officers, actions the night they fucking sank the ship.
