Death and taxes may be the only certain things in life, but even the dead can't escape the new carbon tax in Alberta.

    Don't die, or don't cremate.

    Problem solved.

The cremators should warn you that you will be forced to pay this outrageous tax. It's all part of the alarmist agenda to stop people from dying. Are they? I don't think so. The tax doesn't work.

Just keep the rightwing media out of their faces, bothering them when they are grieving. Imagine Ezra Levant hounding you with slimy expressions of concern.

A carbon tax is just another tax.

The last time I flew Air Canada, the website asked me if I wanted to make a carbon offset donation for my round-trip Toronto-Ottawa flight, which came to just under $3 per passenger (yes I donated).

I read the article. A couple times now. There was nothing in it about it being your aunt. But your constant name calling isn't making me look like the idiot.

The province says that charge was out of line, claiming the carbon tax per cremation should equal, on average, less than $1 and not more than $4.

So you just wanted to take a story about the rip-off funeral industry and pretend it's really about the unbearable burden of a carbon tax?
